Privacy Policy
Effective 29 September 2026
In short: we use your information only to scan and protect your Google Ads account and to run our business with you. We don't sell it, we don't use it for advertising, and our AI provider may not use it to train its models. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
Who we are
Leakproof Ads ("we", "us") is a trading name of Deepak Chauhan, a sole proprietor based in India. We help home-service businesses find and block Google Ads searches that are unlikely to become customers. Questions about this policy go to deepak@leakproofads.com.
What we collect
- Contact and business details you give us: your name, email address, phone number if you share it, business name, website, the services you offer, the towns you serve and your brand names.
- Files you send us: search terms reports exported from Google Ads, which contain search terms, clicks, costs, conversions and campaign and ad group names.
- Google Ads data, if you give us access: when you add our service user to your Google Ads account, we read, through the Google Ads API, the data needed to run the service: search terms, keywords, negative keywords and lists, campaign and ad group structure, costs, conversions and, for Pro customers, Local Services leads, including call recordings and message content. If you grant Standard access, we also write negative keywords to a shared list and, where you ask, lead ratings.
- Billing information: payments are handled by our payment partner, which acts as merchant of record. We receive your name, email, country, plan and payment status. We never see or store full card numbers.
- Business contact information from public sources: to contact businesses that may benefit from a scan, we collect publicly available business information such as company names, websites, published email addresses and whether their ads appear for certain searches. We never click on businesses' ads when collecting this.
- Emails and support conversations you exchange with us.
- Technical data: our website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Our hosting provider may set strictly necessary security cookies and keeps short-lived server logs, such as IP addresses, to protect the site.
How we use it
- To produce your Leak Scan, block lists, weekly emails and statements, and to rate Local Services leads if you're on Pro.
- To check that blocks were installed correctly and to watch for drops in leads after changes.
- To answer your questions, provide support, bill you and keep records the law requires.
- To contact businesses about a free scan, following US anti-spam law (CAN-SPAM). Every email includes a way to opt out, and we honour opt-outs promptly.
- To improve our rules using patterns stripped of anything that identifies you or your customers, for example "searches containing 'salary' are rarely HVAC customers".
Google Ads data
Data we receive through the Google Ads API, or from reports exported from Google Ads, is used only to provide and improve the features you use. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or transfer it to anyone except the service providers listed below who process it for us. We access only the accounts you invite us to, and you can remove our access at any time in Google Ads under Admin → Access and security. When access ends, we stop reading your account.
AI processing
We use AI models, currently Anthropic's Claude through its business API, to classify search terms, review our results and draft routine messages. Our AI provider processes this data on our behalf under commercial terms that do not allow it to train its models on the data. A person reviews Leak Scan reports, and messages written by AI are labelled as such.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run Leakproof Ads, and only what each one needs:
- Cloudflare, for website hosting and security
- Google Workspace, for email and file storage
- Anthropic, for AI processing
- Our email-sending platform, for business outreach and service emails
- Our payment partner, the merchant of record, for billing and sales tax
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others. If the business is ever sold, this policy would continue to apply to your information. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
How long we keep it
- Search terms files for a free scan: deleted within 90 days of your report, unless you become a customer.
- Customer data: kept while you're a customer and deleted within 30 days after you cancel, except records we must keep for tax and accounting.
- Outreach records: kept until you opt out. After that, we keep only your email address on a do-not-contact list so we don't email you again.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you. Email deepak@leakproofads.com and we'll respond within 30 days. Residents of California and other US states with privacy laws have these rights too. We will not treat you differently for using them.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, access is limited to the people and systems that need it, and access to your Google Ads account runs through a dedicated service user that you control. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your information, we'll tell you promptly.
Where data is processed
We're based in India, and our providers operate in the United States and other countries, so your information may be processed outside the country where you live. We use providers that protect it under their business terms.
Children
Leakproof Ads is a business service and is not directed to anyone under 16.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If the change is significant, we'll email customers before it takes effect.
